I need to buy some galvanise sheets for an outside shed. What size is available?.
I need to replace the existing plastic "galvanise" sheets that are damaged. Can I lay the galvanise sheet over the existing "plastic"?.

    Thank you.

Rule one of corrugated galvanised iron sheets - check the profile.

In the South I use Duggan Steel, be prepared to haggle, some standard sizes here http://www.steel.ie/Profiles/Corrigalv.html others on site for other products.

Have a look at the Tegral website for example or just google "roof sheeting"

You will have to replace the polycarbonate sheeting as it cant be laid (weatherproofed) on top of whats there.

    Gents
thank for this info. Never have realised that DPC was required when laying it on treated timber. You can't beat experience.!!!!
    Thanks again.

I use the steel to timber self drilling hex head screw/bolts sold for the job and put them in with a battery impact driver but any decent cordless drill will do the job. I find it helps to mark the where you are putting them throught the sheets with a center punch, the dent it makes helps hold the self drilling screw/bolt in position as its starting off.
