    Well I just had a nasty experience in the Ballina County Mayo Supervalue....I went up with my coupon and my bottle, and the owner refused to take it!
    Said he "couldn't afford" to take the coupon as it was already on sale, and that he'd never heard of the coupon.

    I was quite embarrassed and just left the store.

    I thought this was a nation-wide special? Can he just refuse to honor it lie that?

    went today to waterford and wasnt in stock,so went to New ross and got it.thanks

    They shouldn't refuse, that guy must just be a c**t!

    He probably can't be arsed sending it away for redemption.

    One thing I do know, is you need a Supervalu loyalty card to redeem it. You could just get one in the store at the same time as getting the JD.

    maybe you can't "afford" to shop in his shop again so. I don't see how its any skin off his nose, he is getting the 11.50 one way or another and he was only going to get 24 euro per bottle anyways.

    Yeah the only way they should refuse it and that's if they're being a c**t like that guy, is if the coupon isn't cut out from the page.

    I got it in supervalue firhouse for 12.50 on thursday
    was priced at 30 on shelf, girl on till said that was a mistake and it was actually 24 and then with voucher was 12.50

    Exactly, I usually mix my JD with coke, don't need to with this.
    Pop it in the fridge and away u go.

    That's ridculous. It's not coming out of their backpocket. They send away the coupons and get a cheque for the value of them.

    Worked for me TWICE at the Super Value in the Merchants Quay shopping centre in Cork. On each occasion I used the voucher which was kindly linked near the start of this thread. I've yet to taste it..
