Hotpoint fridge freezer - temp problems

Hi, can anyone give me some advice about a hotpoint FF 312a. The freezer section seems fine but the fridge temp is changing. 2 nites ago i thought it was broken as it wasnt chilling then this am my milk was rock solid with the cold. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I also have it on a 24 hr defrost. To see if this will fix the problem.

if that unit is frost free you probably have it sorted by now having defrosted it , if it re occurs you probably have a faulty defrost element, if its not frost free most likely culprit is a thermostat
