I don't think I've had a bad pet, but the last cat (which still lives in my parents house) is a royal cnunt.

She tore up the landing carpet so much that my mother had to have it replaced. In the mornings she'll be up at four o'clock and hungry. Her meows don't sound like meows, they're f*cking screams. No one can get back to sleep until she's fed.

Sometimes she's locked in a room with someone and wants to get out. If everyone's too lazy to get up and let her out, she'll jump up on surfaces and slowly start pushing items until they fall off to get attention. So far, she's destroyed an expensive digital camera, an iPod and even broken a lamp.

If there's something small on the floor like a ring, she'll start knocking it around the tiles in the middle of the night. It makes a huge racket and no one can sleep until it's taken off her.

The cat has a particular hatred for my brother. Sometimes she'll attack him for no reason. He saw sitting down on the sofa and she came up and sat beside him. For a good ten minutes, she just sat there giving him evils. When he started laughing at something on the TV, she began meowing loudly. Then she got up and viciously attacked his hand.

I find all of this amusing, still love her to bits.

I remember as a child I had a different rabbit, Thumper. Followed me about a lot, he really loved me the wee bastard. But because my brother cleaned the cage, meaning moving my stubborn obese bunny, made a very pissed off rabbit that would almost hiss and growl.

A cat that always wanted to "play" ... with its claws. It was in contrast to the previous one who would literally walk all over you withot you feeling anything.

My parents had a cat when I was a kid. Used to swing it around my head by the tail, it left. Bad I know I also had a budgie that dropped dead when I was playing the piano

My dad had a smashing red setter best hunting dog he ever had. So his brother spent a small fortune on a setter bitch hoping to breed the ultimate hunting dogs. Turns out Bran batted for the other team.

I had 2 chinchillas, Mad bastard things. They are somthing like a rabbit I suppose, Two of them would bite the hand off ya and if they got out of the cage you'd be hours trying to catch them.

Best pets are reptiles. I had a huge collection of snakes at one time(30 of them) and they really are so easy to keep. I'd love to get more but money is a bit tight for me..

I had a couple of snails when I was young. They lived in a big (disused) baking tray in the garage with a styrofoam roof. Went on holidays for the weekend and came back to find they had escaped. They ate their way through about 6 inches of styrofoam to get away. Looking back now I suppose I can understand the reasoning behind their daring escape. Still, my heart was broken that weekend.
