Laptop charger for Etihad Airways flight

    Hi

I'm flying long haul with Etihad Airways next week (7hr + 13hr flight) so I'm wanting to use my laptop on board as I've seen most of the stuff available on the in-flight entertainment. The problem is the battery in my laptop is very bad at moment so more or less needs to be constantly plugged in.

So what I want to know is what type of adapter or separate charger do I need to purchase for the flight? I've looked on SeatGuru and Etihad website but I can't tell.

From my itinerary I look to be flying on an Airbus A332, the Boeing 777 and the Airbus A320 so I'm hoping they all have a standard connection.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

On both of your flights there will be a universal socket in front of you next to the screen so it will be no problem to plug it in.

OP, it looks like a universal socket which will take your three-pin UK plug....

Ah OK thanks that's great news.

I knew from SeatGuru there was a plug in economy class but wasn't sure what type of socket so didn't know if i'd need an adapter or not.

I flew Etihad a few weeks ago and there is power as posted in that photo by coylemj on both the A330-200 and B777-300ER. There is also a USB port so you could charge a smart-phone, ipod etc.
