    Hi everyone,

Deal with a few US vendors in work and it seems common practice on them passing on bank charges to the customer i.e. $15 incoming international wire fee and $30 commission on international transfers.

Is this common as the practice here and in Europe is the opposite i.e. bare the cost as a cost of doing business especially when the bills are in thousands.

It's quite common here, especially with businesses that do wires frequently........it may just be $15 per transaction....but if that company receives 100 wires per month, the cost quickly adds up.
