Car shopping locations Dublin?

It doesn't work like that - the best locations are carzone and donedeal.

This is how it works:

1. Search online for a number of different models you like.
2. Do a bit of research about reviews and any known issues/common problems with those particular makes/models.
3. Once the list is narrowed down to a particular make/model then go onto the likes of carzone.ie/donedeal.ie and select a few cars for sale that you would be interested in viewing.
4. Ring the garage/seller and ask a few basic questions about the cars, based on that then arrange a viewing and test drive of a number of days.
5. Once you have settled on a car you want to buy and an agreed price with the seller, then do some background checks on it around service history/mileage verification and outstanding finance.
6. Have a mechanic give it a once over before handing over any money.

Buying the right car can take a while, it's not like buying a new pair of jeans or shoes where you just walk into a shop and say "I'll have them.", it's the second biggest purchase outside of a home you will make so you need to treat it as such, I definitely would not try and rush into it in one day.

I'm going car shopping this weekend, I identified a few garages through donedeal and car zone that have a few cars I like or I think I like so going to go have a look at a few of them to sit in them and see if I actually like them. Kind of a mix of both methods.
