Trip Hammer Refresher - 18mg - wowsers! It's like they melted yellow refreshers down and added nic! Very scrumptious. I loved those sweets, remember when the white fizz in the middle would come pouring out when you chewed into the centre? That's how the exhale feels. It feels fizzy :) almost tickles your nostrils when exahaling through the nose. One for the sweet tooth vapers out there.

Trip hammer Wham - 8mg - another wow, as it tastes exactly as I remember Wham bars! and this one also has that fizz touch too, but on a lesser scale. Of course it is a much lighter juice, and smoother for it. This one would be easier vape all day, as it's not as sweet or 'fizzy' and tastes really nice. No idea why I ordered 8mg, but that would suit me lounging on the sofa watching a film, constant vaping.

Is it different to Swedish Fish from ESI?

Never had Swedish fish, but I'd say it's probably similar. Though Swedish fish weren't fizzy were they?

Got the El Toro Cigarillos, not sure I'm mad about it, can't put my finger on what it is though!

Love Virginia Prime, maybe the cigarillos is a bit more cigar-like?

Might throw a few drops of something in on top.

Or maybe there's a flavour off the new Protank mini its in.

Nope, but Alba Vapours/ESI version of it is. And it tastes like a Refresher.

Give it a while before desecrating it! Being 'meh' about it is a common occurrence until you end up vaping the bottle in a day.

I loved Cigarrillos up until a month or so back. Virginia prime took over as my main, and now I just can't take to the Cigarrillos anymore.

I just got a bottle of Minotaur, which I'll try tomorrow, I'm on a more sweetie vibe today.

I've tried most of the El Toro stuff now. Guevaro, Cigarrillos, Eden, VP and Puros. VP is the easy stand out for me personally. Puros is too strong, Guevaro just a little musty, not bad, but not as nice as VP

Tried samples of the Chivalry and Reserve, not for me. A little too woody

Eden is a strange one for me. I think if they're going to add apple flavour, add it so it's a little more obvious. there's just not enough of an apple kick maybe? It's just like Guevara with a teensy hint. I'd prefer a little stronger flavour, just to make it stand out from the others more. There's a 'frozen apple' on the houseofliquid site that is nicer.

I agree, a little bit more apple would be nicer.

Ill check out that frozen apple

My Uncle is in his late 70's. He gave up smoking many moons ago when his wife became ill from a smoking related problem. So they both gave up smoking then & there. He used to smoke cigarettes, but he loved smoking cigars and pipes as well.

Recently he was talking to about smoking a pipe. He was explaining how he used to add thin slivers of apple into his pipe tobacco. He said the apple would keep the tobacco moist and it added a nice but faint flavour of apple to his tobacco. I'd never heard of this before, but it sounds really nice! (It sounds a bit like the "Eden" flavour!) I've always loved the smell of tobacco from pipes. Cigars smell lovely too. Yum! :)

(Oh! That reminds me! Has anyone tasted the Wingnut flavour called "Yum?" If so what do you think of it? I got a bottle, but I wasn't mad about it. Someone told me that the "Yum" flavour in particular has to be steeped before using. I'm wondering will steeping make that much of a difference?)

I did this with rolling tobacco. Sometimes I wouldn't seal it properly and it would get too dry. Apple skins were great to moisten it back up.

My Grandad was a pipe smoker too:) Loved the smell of them as a kid I did. When he passed away I made sure to get one of his pipes,a kind of indian type one with a lid.

Never saw him do the apple thing, but sounds like a neat idea.

For me Virginia prime is closest I have had to a pipe taste. More cigar-like though, smooth and tasty, slightly nutty on the after taste.

I see pipe-sauce being talked about, not yet tried it though, there seems to be so many different ones. If someone can recommend a decent one?

I'm looking for some vanilla custard aficionados to review my Crème brûlée.
    who's up for the job?

Thanks Heliguyheliguy - i received this sample last week and all i can say is please send me some more. Its a sweet flavour but not too sweet.
I've eaten a frew creme brulees in my time and they are always a small desert that pack alot of flavour - if done right
Similarly this eliquid packs a good deal of flavour - caramel and creme - of all the sweet juices i have tried - this is up there with the best of them and is not overly sweet at all (there is a great balance of flavours here). If i had to vape this all day i could easily do it but as i only have a small amount and it is so nice Im going to ration this for special occasions.

Its 12MG but delivers a strong throat hit. Im no expert on juices but this is a goodun, Thanks Heliguy. I appreciate a good solid flavoursome juice and the chance to sample it.

I ordered white label Macedoine from ecigshop about two weeks back . At first when it came in I though it was terrible and had a very medicinal taste and smell of it, but after leaving away for a week its the best fluid I ever had. Not a very strong hit, but its a very pleasant pineapple , lemon and fruit flavour.

Also got black label Isis from them, similar taste but with a lot more hit and hint of menthol. Not as nice, but its OK.

Then Marlborough from vaperus has sort of a rough tabaco taste. Have been leaving that away till a dark day as I'm not a fan of it having used the sweet fruit one.

Not exactly a review but I was back in the homeland on Sunday (Cork boy!) and there's a (new?) e-cig/phone cover shop on the corner of North Main and Castle Street, which has my much beloved Wicked e-juice by Healthiersmoker.ie (and another - iBreathe brand).

Anyway, I sniffed the Wicked 'Malboro' (samples out) and I have to say it was really nice - not like Malboro itself at all though, which is only good.

Also the Black Fire Tobacco was lovely and Cuban Supreme (a cigar-like juice, which I went back to twice - as a girly I was impressed by it - smells really mellow).

On a side note: I rebuilt some T3's over the weekend and stuck some Halo Cafe Mocha in to one. It leaked on me so I transferred the liquid back to the bottle, so I could take apart the head to adjust it.
I then filled it back up with Wicked's Italian Cappuccino but still got the taste of the Halo almost all the way through to the last drop, which was great.
I'd read somewhere that after rebuilding you should 'prime' the wick with liquid. This was an unintentional prime and I was delighted with the result.

Does anyone actually do this? Prime with a more expensive/intense liquid then fill up with a cheaper version? Tis a good idea, no?

If it works then it's a good idea, not sure the results would be positive with every combo :)

Learned a lot on boards and some great feedback from members so credit where credit is due and I have learnt so much in this group that a big thank you is deserved.:)

I received 3 of Paul's juices today. Currently vaping the limeade, which is scrubblyumptious. Reminds me of the lime flavoured ice section of a loop-de-loop, nice and sherbety, very more-ish.

I had a quick try of the strawberry kick - this one is lighter to taste, there's a nice menthol after taste, it's nice and fresh, not an all day but certainly one I would use as a dessert vape after a meal. A digestive, if you like :)

Already tried the Crème brûlée from the sample I got. So I have that steeping, still have a wee drop left in the sample bottle which I plan to polish off later :)

Get in on this lads, support local, these juices are every bit as nice as the offerings from overseas.

So when is the shop opening man?

Join the Irish Vaping or Vaping Ireland FB groups and consider the shop open, he can't really talk about it much on boards because of rules'n'such.

Yes, I think its important to support small Irish businesses starting off. Especially with the way things are in this country. There seems to be a great selection of e-cig vendors and shops in Ireland now, which is great!

I'll be ordering a Crème brûlée from Paul soooon. :) I like the fact that Paul is a vaper himself, so he knows what works when it comes to e-liquids. I imagine a lot of the larger company owners don't even test/vap the e-liquids that they produce. I've been lucky that so far anyone I've bought e-cigs, tanks, e-liquids etc from are vapors themselves, so they can advise me properly.

Its great to see new businesses popping up! Maybe Ireland will get back up on its feet soon?! My Father was self employed all his life, so I know how much blood, sweat and tears goes into making it work. I wish Paul and other new e-cig businesses the very best! You guys will be getting my business. I've bought all of my e-cig related stuff in Ireland so far & I will continue to do so. :)

Any links that aren't FB related?

Not that I know of [yet].

Perhaps he'll set up a quicky -site soon? Not too hard to set up a WordPress account even without all the shop plugins and serve people by email.

yeah, why not just join the group on FB? nice wee group going on there. It's more like a mini forum.

I ordered from Paul only yesterday and the package arrived today. Of course, we live in the same town so that helped. But he's on the ball getting stuff out quickly. All it takes is a pm to him on FB, he'll pass on the paypal address, you pay and wait for the lovlies. Simples :)
