    hi all,

has anyone completed DIY waterproofing of the concrete floor in the bathroom to create walk-in shower area /wetroom?

The walls are plasterboard so I will need to waterproof the walls too.

I'm thinking between some sort of adhesive membrane or painted over tanking kit (effectively will create waterproofing layers to floor/walls).

Have anyone done some research into the low cost suppliers where could pick up the materials required around Dublin area?

be sure to check of your going DIY, does that invalidate the NSAI certificate for the product you use, and thus could that affect your home insurance should a leak occur?

The house timber frame, however I'm thinking of doing it downstairs over the concrete floor, does it still affect NSAI?

would you know who can certify or inspect my workmanship and issue appropriate certificate?
