Comfortable but practical sofa chair?

    Hey all,

I'm on the lookout, in the Dublin area, for a comfortable set of two sofa chairs (already have a sofa). The priority is to find something that would suit my parents who are elderly and finding it more and more difficult to get out of the chair at times as they are a bit low, even with extra cushions.

The sofa we have is brown leather but I don't need to match this as such!

Would appreciate any pointers. Would also prefer something already put together so no Ikea! :)

My parents have his'n'hers leather recliner chairs with footstools... similar to what often appears in the Irish Times / Indo offers booklets.... sorry, I can't remember where they got them but I can find out if you think it might suit.... they have a lovely, comfy, firm, high-seat sofa in the room as well (bought in Arnotts if I recall rightly) and are NEVER found sitting on it. Always on the leather chairs. They're the business.

What about something like a Queen Anne style chair. They are stylish but more comfortable for an older person to get in out of as they are higher than your ordinary sofa chairs. Most furniture shops do them and you can normally get them covered in a fabric of your choice to match in with your colour scheme.
