Ok I've bought a few bits n pieces lately. Deathsmiles came this morning and having just spent the past hour with it I'm very impressed. Love the way it goes from shooting from left to right to right to left. Not too much goin on on screen to make me say fcuk this and switch off like akai katana did ( don't worry I'll give it another go ) but yeah deathsmiles = fun.

Edit.. That last level is NUTS!!!

All I could think of was of peppy was here he'd say 'trust your instincts'

Looks like I've a couple of bits on the way, not retro though
Little Big Planet for the Vita
Uncharted 3 and Sly Cooper for the PS3.
Courtesy of a guy on Jamma+ and costing the princely sum of €22 all in.
They are promo's but full titles so I'm getting them for £5 each plus £4 for postage.
Some lucky git got The Last of Us for a fiver!

    But don't worry
    I'm not f**king off to Jamma+ !

I never worked for Chapters, I did work for Gamesworld, when they were a counter in the back of the store and had a new shop on Liffey St.
I painted a mural on the steel door to the basement and they offered me a job, which I did part-time on my days off, for about 4 years, then worked about 4 Christmases after that.
    Good times tbh.

Would it have been around the 16bit era? I had a snes at that time. That will always be my favourite console, quality games that you never get tired of playing even today. Lttp was my first experience with a Zelda game and it will always have a magical feel for me. It sucks you in and doesn't let you go, enticing you to explore every corner of the map. When you get the moon pearl at death mountain and enter the dark world and realise the world has doubled in size:eek:, they just don't make games like that any more. Fingers crossed they don't feck up the new one.

My first Zelda title was Links Awakening on the GB, very good it was too, and I always got stuck around the same place, not that I can remember where that is now, at this far remove.
I must pick up the DX version and give it another go.

    What the actual feck?
I thought this was a dodgy repro from the looks of it (I suppose it is, albeit a modern one).

Is it just me or do the graphics in the screenshot seem to be alot better than I remember that machine being capable of?

It's basically a Homebrew, there are still a lot of them being made.

    I like the cart art,
the 2600 was guilty of some of the most misleading art in the history of gaming!

    Master of the Universe

Love of Terminator 2 got the best of me again...

Screen used breakaway costume section from the T-1000 shatter scene at the end.

    breakaway1_zps5a1a997e.jpg

A 100% original ( with extensive documentation ) T-1000 Motorcycle Policeman breakaway pants cuff, from the now classic "Hasta La Vista Baby" climax of Terminator 2 Judgment Day (1992) from 21 years ago. During filming, this original piece of the T-1000's "Hero" Motorcycle Policeman wardrobe was taken from the T-2 costume department of the film by Stan Winston Studios and was then cut down into sections. Stan Winston Studios created a physical special effects sequence for the ending of the movie consisting of a 1:1 scale T-1000 figure that was cast, dressed in the wardrobe showed up and then replaced with one designed to be yanked apart like an exploding puzzle, as if it had been frozen by nitrogen and shot by the T-800 ( portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger when he says the famous line "Hasta La Vista Baby."

This specific piece was filmed when the T-1000 wore the costume as a motorcycle policeman prior to the end of the film. And was referred to and on set during filming and prep at Winston's SPFX shop. There is still a piece of small green glitter present on the interior portion of the costume piece which was part of the simulated frozen nitrogen accents created by Winston's. The costume fabric is very thick and very high-quality with large zipper and piping trim. The piece is framed but can be easily removed to be examined. Comes with a hand-signed LOA ( Letter of Authenticity ) with supporting documentation from a James Cameron Film Crew Member.

Would it be a couple every year type of thing or one every couple of years?

One or two a year I would say, I don't really look in the other forums on Atariage on the Jaguar 7800, 5200 and Lynx, but there's a Homebrew scene for all the consoles. Lists of games are in the store here:

Stock bios but with the switchless PIC to allow different regions (just like the switch method on the jumpers)
