Quality thread title Urban, top marks... No hangover at all this morning, though the combo of a large curry & several pints of Guinness means my bathroom currently smells worse than a Brazilian slum :)

Think i will give the black pudding a miss in my fry up today.

Emma Ramsden/Spencer/Whatever is a mighty fine filly.

Every time I see Mike Cattermole I get sick in my mouth a little. Is he still taking her on? Even if not the fact he was is mind boggling

Isn't she shagging Marco Botti now. State of Cattermole it gives us all hope. Saw her in person on Arc day if you think she is nice on camera you should see her in real life

    Puking all day.
Haven't been this bad in a while. That bottle of whiskey was a bad idea

    Just an update.
The puking has stopped. Head is still sore. Feeling hungry now as I've not eaten all day. Just ordered a pizza. I hope I can keep it down.

I had a rough night. Three hours sleep before work. **** number two right now

The hangover has officially finished. Longest day ever!

Cattermole got married recently enough, no way was that gormless prick giving Emma a length!

He was not that long ago. I'd no idea if he still was or not though

Sounds grim. Flat 7up, panadol and bed. You'll be right as rain tomorrow.

    I'm working :-(

Get a friend to ring you. Take an urgent call. A burglar has been disturbed at your home and you need to go home and take an inventory. Apologise to the boss for short notice and take a half day annual leave.

    Alternatively, feign a workplace injury.

Or just grim it out. Hide in the toilets.

    Hide in the toilets.

A workplace Jimmy Floyd may indeed help with his hang over

No point going home. I'm here now so I'll brave it out. Probably go for a few pints after work to sort me out.

Tell them your wife died that should get you the afternoon off

I better not tell my gf I have a wife!

    Back to 100%

Just in the door after a lovely feed of Thai cuisine. 3 courses for 22 quid - nom nom nom.
    Sorted me right out :)

Sipping a Belfast Ale here. Not to my liking at all, actually not sure if I'll finish it tbh

Have had their lager before (not bad) & Clothworthy Dobbin on cask (pretty damn good) but Whitewater have far from excelled with this effort

What is the relevance of "india" in i.p.a. ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,451 ✭✭✭Overthelast

Ales would not keep when the Brits shipped them to India. So they had to create a special brew that would last the 3 month ship journey to india, hence the name ( or so I'm told) :)

Rather than admit I didn't know that I'll do like the 2 lads on the Rice Krispies ad....I didn't know that most people didn't know that.

All this talk of drink is making me thirsty. I spent 3 hours sheltering from torrential rain at Ballybrit today. I think I deserve a pint. I'm putting on my jacket.
