Student Card Work in NI Apple Store?

Hi I am new here and just looking for some advice. Sorry if this question has being asked many times, but I don't see anything for 2013.

Basically I am after a Macbook Pro Laptop for college in the next few weeks. I live close to the border so was wondering if I was to go to Belfast Apple Store or an Apple Store in Northern Ireland would my Irish Student Card qualify for student discount, as they seem to work out cheaper in the UK and NI even without discount.
