Were these supposed to go out of fashion?

Still see a few of them in the southern states in the US

Stone-washed denim, preferably in both a mini skirt and jacket, teamed with highlights and a body wave.
    *shudder*

Those massively baggy arsed trousers (mc hammer type)

The gloves that were connected to each other with a string (dangerous toddler fashion)

Batwing, shoulder padded, faux silk blouses.

    Expendable income.

Graduated bobs. (They sound connected but they're not)

wouldn't mind seeing some of the American 60's look coming back here as opposed to the Irish 60's look (think your grandad in a suit with a jumper underneath and cyap"

Rats tails...ugh. my brothers had them.

Those fabric school bags with the buckles. Had them too.

I Was going to say the terrible shoes they had, but they're already back in fashion. I don't know the name though. My brothers looked horrific in the 90's.

Those track suit bottoms with the buttons down the side that could be ripped off. Had to be the stupidest things ever. Did anyone ever wear them and manage to keep them in one piece?

Ahh I had those, what was my 12 year old self thinking...

Luckily the buttons only ripped up to my kness, so I wasn't there in my boxers if someone tried ripping them.

Bad, bad choice. Didn't wear those for long.

    **** sake kid.

'Step' haircuts. It's been 20 years and ne'er a sniff of a comeback

I actually met somebody who had one the other day, and when I saw him I was just thinking that I hadn't seen one for about 20 years.

Steps are bad man... the hairstyle, the group, the things you have to haul ass up; all of it.

Surely a role as some sort of circus freak beckons?

I'm thinking 'the ciggie eater', or some thing like that.
