Garmin 500 or Cateye Stealth 50?

Only recently realised I was being emergency taxed (even though I have a p45). Long story short I got a lot of money I didn't know I was due. I'm now looking into getting a decent cycling computer. I'm looking at either the Garmin Edge 500 or the Cateye Stealth 50. I was just wondering if anyone has used either (more from the cateye perspective I guess as most seem to use the Garmin.) Also, anyone know of a good place to buy?
