virtualization project ideas?

    Hi guys i am looking for some ideas for a college project i will be doing.

    I want to do the project around the area of virtualization so was just wondering would anyone have ideas where i might start?

    Maybe by defining the scope of it.

    Is it an assignment... a final year degree project, what technologies do you know ?
    Are you expecting to set up a normal server first, then migrate it to a VM Ware farm ?
    Or just write up a dissertation / cost-benefit analysis on it ?

    Ye it will be a final year degree project.

    I know a small bit about VM Ware.

    I can decide what I want to do. There has to be a practical element + a write up.

    So I am just looking for ideas in that area.
