Nice haul today from Los Lobos

    I got:

    Goonies 2
    Lolo 2
    Demon Sword
    Megaman 2
    Duck Tales
    Little Nemo
    Batman
    Bionic Commando
    The Battle of Olympus

And he threw in these two for free:

    Yars' Revenge
    Duck Hunt

I now have a 2600 game to try on the system I bought 3 years ago :)

I seriously need to buy a psu & a joystick for the Atari, I've a Junior & a Vader model sitting there years & a couple of carts without having ever used them.

Ah crap you just reminded me I've no joystick. I think megadrive joypads work.

I have a ton of them, but need to check them out. Some working and some need repairing. will get around to it one of these days

I'd be interested in them, especially if you have the dual paddle controllers.

    Buggering buggeration!
Got an email from revenue saying there's a further €26 owned on my item from Japan.
And I have a bigger problem.
I am having it delivered to my workplace, so I have to leave the money with reception and hope it all works out.
There's no apparent way of paying it over the phone or online.
Now that's arseholery behaviour if ever there was some!

It's a government run operation isn't it? No surprise there then.

Anyway, hopefully the games will be worth it after all the hassle you've had. PS1 games are they the Namco stuff?

Yeah, I had a few of the PAL editions for the PS at release, but over the intervening decades they disappeared (or got traded in, more likely tbh).

I have been looking at this set for a while, in one form or another.
Pyongy got them a while ago and I was dead set on picking myself up a set but life got in the way, damn you life!!!

But the chance popped up again, and I got a complete Japanese set for what was a good price, around the 80/90 region, posted.
Of course now that my great mates in Revenue have gotten their paws on them the price has jumped up €26 :(
Still, it's not a bad price for a set like this.

Interestingly, at least to me, is the Volume Controller from Namco, again I directed Pyongy where to get one way back when for the same purpose, is also on it's way, according to tracking it's here in the country now which will lead to the interesting situation where the item ordered a week later from the same company will get here before the first item....
I'm glad I typed that out because if I tried to say it out loud what little mind I have may leak out through my nose... again...

Just in time to pick up Earthbound. Should you own it already, one more won't hurt.

Ah sure you might as well just pick up NSMBWiiU and ZombiU.

Got ZombiU with it.....fun game and its ball hard! I'm enjoying it though. As for the console....hmmm...its grand and everything but just feels like an updated Wii....does not fell like a next gen console at all. Plus nintendoland is a load of ****

My son got a gift this morning from Club Nintendo
    $(KGrHqN,!p8E-61FVErWBP73q7pUqQ~~60_35.JPG

I had a bunch of Nintendo points left and figured it'd encourage him to tie his laces!

And, by the morning I should finally have my Namco Museum Stuff in hand, which seem to have spent more time sitting on a Customs shelf than actually in transit from Japan!
    I can't wait!
I was considering bringing a region free PS with me so I could try them out, but figured the powers that be may not share my love of gaming.......

Generation spanning pick-ups here. I got the G-Con 45 and ICO through a swap and picked up Soul Calibur over the weekend (The Assassin's Creed love made me do it). I have wanted ICO for ages and ages so I was delighted to be offered it in a swap. I also have a copy of Time Crisis in my psone collection so I finally hooked it all up for a game last night.

Wouldn't worry about Atavan too much, looks like he's made it to the gym of the water pokémon trainer...
Don't mind us, just chilling in the pool.

Yup, this Friday evening, just about to evict the prolific spider population from the gamesroom, they have set up a makeshift barrier of web and sent out leaflets to the other insect inhabitants with the phrase "if you tolerate this then your grubs will be next" written on them.

My son is heading on holidays with his grandparents tomorrow and in preparation for all that sunshine he's bought himself a game to play, the new Paper Mario Sticker Star for the 3DS, he finished Luigis Mansion 2 and has been saving so,
Well Done that chip off the old block!
