Cheap 2X4 planks

I'm building some Hen houses and duck coops but I dont have the planks of wood needed to build them, is there any spot were you can get cheap or even free timber like in warehouse skips and what not? Thanks.

Thanks for the replys everyone, Yea my neighbour who also keeps poultry made a "pallet coop" from pallets he got down in the bog! :L

however it was not as advanced as the one in the video all his one was 4 pallets tied together!! :L

do you guys no any hardware shops that throw out unused planks of wood??

Take a look on done deal for second hand scaffolding planks, split down the middle would give you 4 by 2, or go to sawmill much cheaper than hardware shops
