Don't think I can watch the golf tomorrow. Westwood will fuck it up. I never win golf bets anyway.

He is disintegrating Live on BBC 1 now. Horrible to watch, but watch I must. Great tv. Poulter might post a low score that they have to catch.

It's only one hole. Disintegrating is a tad harsh.

One hole can cost you a round. He got away with only a bogey there, which was very good given his first two efforts

I know. And he did well to get away with it. Especially as the commentator said some about somebody shooting a 9 or something from a similar position.

He's back in the game again. If he can just play safe......his hands will be on the claret jug just after 6.15pm!

I didn't. :( Same old Westwood! Just going to go back to backing him each way. Great stuff by Mickelson though!

Very disappointing by Westwood yesterday and fair to say that he has the Timeform squiggle beside his name now. His 75 was the joint-worst score of anyone who finished in the top 30 yesterday, along with Hunter Mahan who is also looking dodgy under pressure now (he also dropped away in the final round of this years US Open). Tough day to score low but most players managed to stay within a few shots of par.

What a round by Mickelson, though. Really raised his game at the end (like Tiger used to) - sign of a real champion. Have to say that each of this years Majors have been won by players (Scott, Rose, Mickelson) who went out and grabbed the tournament by the scruff of the neck by making birdies on brutal finishing holes when others were wilting. Deserving winners, all 3.

And Westwoods putting was excellent this week, it was his long game that let him down yesterday which is usually the strong point of his game. I always thought if he got his putting together he would win one but after yesterday it would suggest that mentally he doesn't have it in him. Westwood has the game to win multiple majors but I think he's going to be a nearly man in majors like Monty and Garcia. Would still love to see him win one but it's back to doing him each way for me! Westwood eachway is actually a pretty good bet with 10 top ten finished in his last 17 starts in majors, that is an incredible record.

I have also backed Westwood several times in Majors (ew) but gave up on him a couple of years ago because it became so frustrating. I still reckon he could win a Major (most likely The USPGA) but not from the front - I never fancied him to win yesterday. I could envision him starting the final round 3-5 shots behind and playing in the 4th or 5th last group (like Els last year and Mickelson this year in The Open), playing steadily and finishing strongly, without too much pressure on him. I hope he does win one (at least) as he is a brilliant ball-striker and a very consistent player.

She's about as attractive as a calendar of Mouse Morris posing nude with only a strategically placed packet of Major to preserve his modesty...

What's going on with Southampton on the Betfair Premier League market? Small "gamble" in them. They're consistently being matched at less than 1,000 & have been matched at a low of c600. Over a hundred quid waiting at 860.

    Thing is there's 2,500/1 available

They have made a couple of eye catching signings and the indications are there is more money available and 5 of their first 6 fixtures are West Brom, Sunderland, Norwich, West Ham and Crystal Palace, so i'd imagine someone is backing them and hoping they start strongly and will lay them off after this nice run of fixtures.

Not suggesting its a good idea or anything but I'd imagine thats the thinking behind it!
