Let's get back to the kayak, it's far more interesting than gym freaks comparing willies body fat.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Sure you'd be banjaxed after blowing that yoke up! You'd have no energy to paddle anywhere.

Inflate that fúcker with helium and go for a paddle in a field. Troll some cows!

This thread reminds me of when you get stuck talking to an old neighbour at a party.

Did I tell you about the operation I had to have after a kayak fell on my hip?

Aww man, Half the fun of shopping at Lidl was the scavanger hunt for a decent box that you could lob yer stuff into

You would definetly need an electric pump for that sucker.

Yep, happens me all the time. Go to Lidl for milk and bread, BAM!!! Come out with a 24 piece socket wrench kit and a laser guided skill saw but no milk or bread.

I'll have to avoid Lidl Thursday so, cause if I head down for the 24 pack of nappies, I'll come out with the Kayak then there's the kid floating out to sea a couple of hours later.

I know somebody that went to Lidl for a tin of beans and came home with a surfboard:pac:

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I mean sequels very rarely live up to the standards of the original. I'd be amazed if Lidl 2 did very well at the box office at all

why not it's true. A mate of mine is in the coastguard. Pulled out a 17year olds body yesterday, said people were swimming in around the same spot an hour later

So what's the problem? If there was a car crash and someone died...as soon as they reopened the road people would be driving in the same spot.

    OK.....
as a kayak and canoeing instructor......

that thing looks like a bath toy.

I wouldn't let my kids in one in anything other than a pool.

saying it's suitable for open water is down right wrong.

as to life jackets etc, LIDL had them last year. thier sales model is to have different stuff every week. they USUALLY have stuff grouped like fishing rods and tackle sets, and stationery sets and the like for start of school time,

you should not be in a canoe or kayak without a life jacket/PFD.

personally, I have a shed full of 'em so if I was buying a canoe/kayak, I wouldn't WANT another one...... infact I've never had a PFD included in the package when buying a wind surfer , kayak, canoe or dingy.

SPME of lidl's stuff is good value. their wetsuits a few months back looked fine.

this thing is a death trap.

and as for the folks who die in the water this week....

yes I feel sorry for their families.

but what were thier families doing letting them out on the water without the correct equipment/supervision.

I don't respect the stupid, living or dead.

People go under for all sorts of reasons. Drowned = stupid is a pretty crude equation to say the least.

You boast that you already have PFDs galore so don't feel they need to be included. Clearly this product is not aimed at serious enthusiasts so all the more reason to include two with it.
