    Hi folks,
    Haven't driven much the past year while at college but I need to get the car back on the road now.
    The car currently has no nct or tax and my insurance policy expired a couple of months back, which is not a big deal.
    Now what I am having trouble with is with all the different stories I am being told.
    So, I can't insure the car without an Nct cert but I can't Nct the car without insurance? I can't tax it either without either of the above?
    Surely this ain't right I imagine or should I just buy a bike...

    Some insurers will insure without nct
    You don't need nct to get tax
    You don't need tax to get nct.

    Mate you don't need nct to get tax and you do not need tax to get nct, there is even companys who will toe your car for nct without tax or insurance, also you will get insurance without nct I'm pretty sure, so your 1st point is get insurance 2. Get tax and even pre 1st point if you have the car go online right now and book your nct, sorted :)

    Hey thanks for the reply. That was quick.
    I'll stick the insurance on it first so and let the rest follow.
    was wondering alright, seemed like an impossible task from what I was told by everyone.

    Or get the car towed, do nct and see if it actually passes.
