Clothes for a new job in Spain

    Hi!

I'm 23, 5'7 and a size 14 (although on the way to being a 12 soon!) I'm starting a new job in Spain in September and I'd love some help and ideas on what kind of clothes to wear. I've been told dress code is smart and professional, but not ott (like no suits or anything). The usual rules about no spaghetti straps, no denim, no cleavage showing etc. but things like vest tops are ok.

I'm working in a school not as a teacher, but in a position requiring a lot of responsibility to the kids and parents (think school counselor type role, although I'm an assistant not the main woman!). So I don't want to look too formal and alienate the kids, or too casual and not look 'up to the job' or something (I do look young!)

My personal style would usually be day dresses often in a fit and flare style as it suits my shape. Wrap style dresses could be good too. As it'll be too warm to wear black tights for the first few months, dress length is a big factor though - I wouldn't want it any higher than the knee. Because I'll be moving countries, I would like to have some work clothes that I can wear on my days off too to minimize packing! Do you think a dress would be ok for this environment? I really want to be comfortable. I'd appreciate any other style ideas too (like trousers and blouse etc.) Thanks in advance :)
