That's typical twitter nonesence from Fury but Nothing unusual here.

Tyson on Sky now, openly admitted he wanted a 80-20 split in his favor. I don't think Haye will agree to that but Tyson says there is room to negotiate.

To be honest I don't no who I want to lose more, both overgrown mouth pieces.

No one in their right mind would agree to that.

If I'm not mistaken, as much as I am no fan of Haye, he was a champion at HW, which is more than Fury, so where he is getting this split from is beyond me.

    I'll fix this for ya

'Tyson on Sky now, openly admitted he doesn't want the fight.'

    80-20, Ridiculous.

I don't no how serious he was about that split, it's so outrageous you have to think he's trolling a bit.

At 25 he doesn't need Haye anyway, it's a very dangerous fight for him to take this early on in his career.

I enjoy the whole Tyson Fury show but this 80 - 20 makes him look like fool. Now he is ducking Haye, don't go shouting your mouth and then demand those terms.

If he's smart Fury will steer clear of David Haye but then again if he was smart he would not have got involved with Haye / Booth in the first place.

It's sickening really but this seems to be the way of the modern fighter, pick and choose, come up with ridiculous reasons to duck certain rivals and just be an arse/mouthpiece to make money. Try and win some alphabet title and "talk" about being the greatest without actually doing it.

Sad but true. I would have more respect for Tyson if he simply avoided Haye

Can't believe how some people are so gullible, Fury is on a complete wind up about the fight not going ahead because Haye won't agree to a 80-20 split. Even Tyson isnt that stupid or arrogant. If you followed all his tweets over the past couple of weeks he's been trolling people the whole time.
He came out again yesterday saying that it was actually Haye who wanted a 70-30 split in his favour which is why fury has probably been winding people up saying its him who deserves 80-20.
    Here's the tweet:
@Tyson_Fury: I don't Do business side my team does. I'm saying as that is all I think hays worth 20%. Not that he's been offered it. For clarity Haye Wanted 70/30 then agreed 50/50 weeks ago. As I said 6 weeks ago. And still no show????????

This just went up today aswell, interesting that he would offer a winner takes all. That would make this very interesting!

He is joking about that, he already said 50-50 is agreed and he doesn't be part of the negotiating, he said if he was it would be 80-20 split-basically he's saying he's way better than Haye

Fury should just mind himself for a few years and let the Klitschkos exit stage left. You don't need to be up to much to win a heavyweight world title. Haye seems a risk not worth taking unless he needs the money/is fruitlet confident of winning.

Haye would likely slaughter him, though.

    2hrs ago he said

If Haye wants 60/40 now ill do winner take 60 loser take 40! If not ill do winner take all! Lets get it on! For the fans& for brutish boxing

Haye needs Tyson fury! I don't need him! I'm giving him a chance of getting Bach on top!

Fury has been on the wind up big time for the last ten days or so.

Can't see the fight not happening. Potential/Rumoured £10m purse split 50/50

Nobody is turning down that kinda money imo. should be really exciting while it lasts.

Also if its an exciting fight there will always be serious potential for bigger money rematch. That kinda money far out weighs any negative impact a defeat for either man.

    Agree.

    Fight will happen.

Both need a payday, not Haye's biggest fan but he is way better than Fury and has power.

Haye will probably avoid him for the first few rounds like he usually does against every Heavy but mid rounds he will probably spark him out.

Fury has nothing that Haye has seen before.

i am sure Fury feels gutted missing a big pay day against Price after last nights performance

I know it's an old interview but his uncle seems a very intelligent man. He could see through price and he thinks tyson is nuts. I have to agree with everything he said. Tyson was offered 400k to fight price lay year and he wouldn't risk it. I watched the price v Thomson and I think Thompson would push fury. He fought a great fight even though he was down he had smarts to recover.

Haye on the other hand is a good fighter but he was a pile of **** against wlad. I still think he will take fury. Although heavy weigh fights aren't great viewing.

One thing i think should be considered when knocking his performance against cunningham is how big a loss not having his uncle in the corner was, his uncle appears to be a real calming influence on tyson and seems to be able to get him to stick to a gameplan and not do something crazy, the johnson fight showed that Fury is capable of boxing to a plan, with his uncle back in the corner i think against Haye Tyson would be far more controlled and box smarter then he did against Cunningham

I've just signed to fight Fury on Sep 28, lets hope he finally agrees (and signs today) and he doesn't keep delaying. Word around "Camp Fire" is Fury is looking to duck me and fight Toney "The Tiger". Lets hope they are just to rumours....

Haha Fury is in big trouble now, he's is at least 3 years off this level.
I suppose he will get a big pay cheque and even in defeat will still be considered a potential champion down the road.

@mrdavidhaye I don't get why you didn't fight me. I'm the only heavyweight champ that challenged you three times. I even came to London to challenge you face to face. When you offered me the contract I didn't even wait a second to sign it. Now your about to fight a glaschin

Peter Fury on twitter said he expects the fight to be signed and announced 2moro.

    Press conference next week.

If fury can stick to a plan he can win. If he starts swinging like he did against cunningham Haye will pick him off. I kinda want him to lose but I don't like Haye either. Two pricks. I liked fury but I think he's gone mad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,534 ✭✭✭Dick phelan

Fury has agreed and the fight will be announced at a press conference on thursday a cool 5m each regardless of the outcome Fury would have been mad to turn down that much money
