WEnt to the first shop to buy a hedge trimmer, asked the assistant ,"Can the blade go flat on the ground?""Yes" he says ,I asked him twice to do it,but would not, left went to another shop,Asked the same question"No prob"and gave me the option of having it for a day on trial for free"No need I said, this is exactly what I wanted and paid €550.00,He threw a few bits with the deal.Perfect for cutting under wire, plus unlike a strimmer the stuff does not fly.

Better not but Im putting up the ugliest piece of barbed wire fencing he will ever see outside his back garden .
It would have bee easier to put the heifer back into the garden then out onto the road

Yeah, had that before with a c u next tuesday trying to drown sheep in a reservoir, easier to put them back where they came from.

Passed our annual TB test today. A lot to be said for an almost closed herd. 15 or so years ago, we had a lot of TB here. Plenty of badgers then too.

I did too until the last w**ker turned up, considering the same farm was audited a couple of months earlier and passed as usual, when this prick turned up he failed me miserably. I thanked him for wasting 3 hrs of my time considering he said he had to fail me straight off (but didn't tell me until we were finished) when I said the cards were off driving in the jeep.

the cow that im treating and minding has held the bed in now for 3 full days and its like a mini achievement... she is blooming now and coming on by the minute!!

Her calf is successfully onto a freisan so icing on the cake would be to get her into a good weight in the factory as she would be an R for sure as only 2008 and a good heifer at that

So far all I have cut is briars, thistle, ragworth and rushes. It just worked like the old finger bar.I find the strimmer no good for these when you use the gut on the strimmer.I am not a fan of the blade on the strimmer. Will let you know about the grass.

    Going havin a barbecue,

You get a lovely charcoal flavour of the black silage plastic especially if there is a bit of sh*te mixed in with it aswell. do you use a tire to get the BBQ started and to let everyone local know your going BBQing

No not all we just wrap it around a full diesel tank and away with it, I always find the rat and cats piss gives a better flavour,
