I'd nearly hope the lions win now to shut all the twats up.
Some serious muppetry on book face over it. You'd think he was still a good player.

I only just found out there that Zaynar had to put down after his last race in April at Taunton. :( Loved that horse.

That single grammatical error is without a doubt the one i hate most. So many people make it too.

Also hate when people say "here here" instead of "hear hear"

Surely one would say both phrases the exact same?? Now when written thats a different story altogether ;)

Had a soft spot for him myself, but the one thing I'll always remember was the time he got turned over at 1/14 :o

We got big word for him when he won the Triumph, yet I still backed Oliver Bradys :pac: :pac: I'll put that down to being young and foolish!

Regarding spelling/grammar mistakes, the most annoying one for me (and seen regularly on this sub-forum, unfortunately) is people writing "loose" instead of "lose" e.g "Grandouet was very unlucky to loose again yesterday".

Or bread as opposed to bred. It is an absolute scorcher here today

I've worked with a lot of people but the half wit im working with today is the laziest I've ever come across. He also thought 22 plus 15 was 27 and needed a calculator to verify when i said it was 37

I used to live with a girl who couldn't add 10 to another number. eg 35 + 10 would make her reach for a calculator

I am a firm believer in imperative I.Q tests for teens followed by chemical castration for those that fall below a cut off. Talk about enhancing the gene pool

It can be extended to a lot of examples.

You should have to pass a test to be able to vote. I think it should start with your vote worth 1. You're asked a series of 5 simple questions (and I'm talking real simple sh!t, who's the out going Taoiseach etc). Each one you get wrong your vote is multiplied by 0.8

of the 5 questions the last should be "name the political party your first preference represents". Based on some of the idiots I've come across that'd stump a large number of people

To you beer aficionados - what is your verdict on Leffe?

I am on my 4th bottle at the moment. Can feel the 6.6% kicking in.

Not a bad beer, but a bit luscious for my palate, the belgians should stick to making chocolate and leave the beer to the germans : )

I'd drink any beer apart from Mexican beers. Dirty mexican ****ers.

I really struggle to enjoy beer these days.
    Guinness all day for me.

I like leffe, especially on draught. Didn't realise it was in the 6's. Tasty stuff.

Not a huge fan of belgian beers (not a real country) but leffe is one of the nicer ones I've tried. Don't like Duvel at all & Chimay is middling at best

Is it just me or do you always go to the first page of a thread where as previously it was the last page you read?

Can't wait for tomorrow. Going to spend a large amount of time sitting in a paddling pool in my back garden, drinking beer & eating pork sandwiches. Found a job lot of Franziskaner in my shed, I bought them a few weeks back but due to being on a course of antibiotics for a fortnight I had completely forgotten about them, they'll go down very nicely..... Might have to give the beer a test run this evening just to make sure it's fit for purpose too :) Bought a big lump of pork shoulder last night, it's in the fridge covered with a whole heap of assorted spices to flavour it up, bang it into the oven early doors tomorrow (or the slow cooker overnight) and by lunchtime it's pure heavenly porky goodness, bread rools, bit of lettuce, absolute feast.... It'll probably fcking rain now just to thwart me....
