    Alright Guys(nd girls ;) ),

I'm in the middle of my 1st ever build and I'm trying to figure out where to plug in the 2 case fans.

Both fan were on the case when I bought it ( CM Storm Enforcer), 1 x 1200mm I think and 1 x 2000mm, fans both have the same 3pin connectors on them with a connecting lead with a molex connector on it(I think) ( see attached ).

    I've 4 spare Fan sockets, 1 x CPU and 3 x System, problem is all 4 have a 4pin socket.

I read somewhere that you can still connect the 3pin connector to the 4 pin socket ( Haven't tried) and it'll be ok, is this right or should I connect these to the PSU using the Molex connectors?

As always your help would be welcomed.

    Ant

You can connect them directly to your power supply with those 4 pin molex but they will be noisy running at full rpms.

I Would just disconnect that last section and use the 3 pin connected to the system fan headers.
Its ok if there 4pin pwm headers on the mobo.Just make sure the plastic tab on the header fits into the groove on the fan header.

You should be able to control the speeds with you mobo software/bios or speedfan.

Didn't notice the groove, that'll help to make sure they're fitted the right way
    Cheers for the quick response.
