I imagine something to do with cannabis laws will be fairly popular.

Switching cinema screens and riding the luas for free, not so cool. If you use a service, then pay for it.

The AH rule that says complaining about other people breaking the law is worse than breaking the law yourself and that brickbats should be throw at the complainer.

I'd love to smash that one to bits.

dodging the fare on the luas is one thing, but switching screens is no big thing.

Since this is about dodging fares and paying what you owe

If you're feeling hungry and don't have enough money and if you don't mind eating salads. Head into tesco salad counter, there's a salad tray which they charge €4. Fill it up as much as you can. Peel off the barcode thats on the plastic tray, that scans it in as €4. Go to the self service counter and weigh it in as carrots. 50c salad for you.

My house is adorned with an assorted array of toiletries from various hotels I've stayed in over the years.

I particularly get great use out of the shower cap I got from a Dublin hotel once.

I saw my neighbor ride home on a fancy bicycle. We have each other a 'Hello' and I said, 'New bike? Looks good' and he tells me he bought it with the cycle-2-work scheme.

Seeing as I pay taxes and taxes were used to subsidize his bicycle, I figured, it wasn't *really* his, right?

That Sunday, I stole it. I figured he'd be sleeping since he works on Mondays...I just took a large wrench and twisted the cable lock until it snapped (cheap lock - was real easy).

Then I took it inside my place. Waited a month and sold it on DoneDeal.ie

Before people get upset - keep in mind, he has a CAR - so it's not like he needed it.

I remember when Tesco (might have been Quinnsworths at the time) used to have a huge pick&mix section, it was almost expected to eat a couple, put some in the bag, eat a couple.....etc etc:D

Really, he should thanking UCDvet for leaving him with the car.

    Torrenting music/movies.
It's just the norm for most people, they don't even think twice. I actually don't anymore with Netflix at home and Xbox Music on the phone, but I certainly used to. Daily visits to Limewire for a tune or two. But I still only wound up with a thousand or so songs.

I find it gas that many of my mates claim music to be their passion and that they're pretty much aficionados, yet they have thousands and THOUSANDS of songs, a fraction of which were legitimately paid for :D

Not sure if it's technically illegal in this country though.

Still nicked something off someone who thought he was friendly.
It's the breach of trust I'd look down upon, not the actual theft.

Does anyone pay their TV licence before being asked to?

I have done the double cinema thing in my youth, and have been in too much of a hurry to buy a luas ticket before. Not really proud of either.
I also have last myself be undercharged before, wasn't sure until I checked the receipt outside but I didn't do it at the till even though I had a feeling.

I must look so dishonest! The shame :(
