Boardman or Giant

Hi All,

Looking for a new bike, want a hybrid as prefer the straight handlebars but will be mainly road cycling.

Been looking at the Giant Rapid 4 and the Boardman performance hybrid. Not familiar with boardman, and want to spend about 600...so any recos which would be better? Or an alternative. €600 is really top end to be honest..

I have a Boardman Team hybrid, can't fault it. Mine has hydraulic brakes where your has "mechanical brakes" probably cable operated.
Halfords customer service isn't great.

Giant make good bikes too.

went for boardman hybrid race in the end. Will do for the moment. have to get gears re set though as pushing it to 3 pushes the chain right off the cogs
