I have an lg smart tv ang an lg home cinema in a second room.
I have a magic eye for sky from another box and saorview.
When I switch on the home cinema the saorview goes off.
It says on the screen "no signal"
When I switch the home cinema off, the saorview comes back on.
The sky coming from the other box is not affected by this.
Can anyone tell me what's going on please?

Presumably the home cinema is connected to the tv with a HDMI lead?

Disconnect it & see what happens, or if it's running near the tv aerial cable, just try separating them.

    Your right!!
Separated the two cables and it works fine.
Everytime I put the hdmi cable about a half an inch near the aerial cable the saorview goes off.
Is it a common enough fault and why does that happen?
Thanks very much for your help Peter, it was wrecking my head for ages!

Yeah, it's common enough. HDMI cables radiate frequencies that can interfere with the tv signal, usually by being picked up on the aerial cable.

Good that you seem to have sorted it easily.
