I know it's well early but was just bored in work so said i'd start the thread up this year and do an early mock.

    This was a 14 team league (fantasyfootballcalculator.com)

I had the 6 pick my team in round order

    1st J. Charles RB (KC)
    2nd P. Harvey WR (Sea)
    3rd C. Ivory RB (NYJ)
    4th P. Garcon WR (WAS)
    5th M. Stafford QB (DET)
    6th K. Britt WR (TEN)
    7th J. Stewart RB (CAR)
8th R. Hillman RB (DEN) (This would solely have been for early season trade value. If he gets the first couple of starts)
9th J. Ballard TE (NE) (took a flyer on this one from the 6th with the probs they having at TE atm)
10th Tampa Bay DEF... there was a rush by this stage
11th K. Wright WR (TEN) (Duno why I went for 2 TEN WR's)
12th J. Edelman WR (NE) (Really liked him last season, if 2 TE's out and amendola picks up a knock...)
    13th G. Zuerlien K (STL)
    14th B. LeFall WR (CAR)
    15th L. Kendricks TE (STL)

Not a great team by any measure, was a half arsed mock. obv mistake was I didn't get a second QB, had meant to pick up Freeman but D rush forced my hand.

I'd avoid Jonathan Stewart like the plague. Had him last year and with Cam running so much, and DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert also there - very unreliable.

Chris Ivory in the 3rd is a reach IMO too.

Your well stocked at RB (love Ivory even if it is a slight reach) & agree with above to avoid Stewart altogether.

Your TE/WR situation looks very poor, although Kendall Wright could be very good

I'd probably go RB RB rather then RB WR to be honest. Good running backs are the biggest success factor.

Just did a mock draft on nfl.com there for a 10 team league, preparing for my private league this year. Picking 3rd, which I decided is a terrible slot this year, I still ended up with an alright draft. What do you think?

    1. Marshawn Lynch RB SEA
    2. Matt Forte RB CHI
    3. Vincent Jackson WR TB
    4. Tom Brady QB NE
    5. David Wilson RB NYG
    6. Mike Wallace WR MIA
    7. Wes Welker WR DEN
    8. Ryan Matthews RB SD
    9. James Jones WR GB
    10. Daryl Richardson RB STL
    11. Miles Austin WR DAL
    12. Ben Roethlisberger QB PIT
    13. Jermaine Gresham TE CIN
    14. Bengals DEF
    15. Sebastian Janikowski K OAK

That's pretty good tbh. Stacked at every position really although maybe could have gone TE in the 8th instead of Matthews who would not make your team I reckon

Just did my 1st draft on NFL.com (like being in a few leagues) 10 team league picking 8th overall.

    My panel is as follows

    QB. Phillip Rivers
RB. CJ Spiller, CJ2K, Reggie Bush, Lamar Miller, Ryan Matthews
WR. Brandon Marshall, Torrey Smith, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Kenny Britt, Cecil Shorts
    TE. Martellus Bennett
    K. Greg Zuerlein
    D. NY Jets

Obvious weakness is TE & QB. Hoping for a bounce back year from Rivers. Can use one of my RB's or WR's for TE bait.

Big Ben & Andy Dalton are still on the waiver wire so will look to pick up one of those guys to back up Rivers.
