Can You Drive A Tractor?

I am a culchie. This may come as a shock to some of you, I know how to use a pedestrian crossing, a roundabout, and the internet, even order food in fancy restaurants like McDonalds and KFC, but I am never happier than when I am behind the wheel of my Zetor 6748 in the bog, dragging turf.

So, my sophisticated friends, can you drive a tractor?

I learned to drive in a tractor, despite being from city centre Dublin. First real driving I did was bringing home the hay for the uncles on summer holidays. Happy memories!

I'm in no way qualified, but yes, I can make a tractor go forwards without endangering myself and others. Wouldn't attempt to back a trailer though. Or use a back lift.

Funnily enough, my license says I'm legally allowed to drive a tractor. Cat W just automatically added when I last renewed. That said, the last time I drove one I was 14. A little pre-license. First vehicle I ever drove, in fact. Ah, happy days...

Like it although colour is a bit wrong for a David Brown.

Aye, t'isnt the original shade at all. We also had a white one with a cab also, can't remember the model. Might have been a 99-something-or-other.
