Primary Pupil Teacher Ratio

Hi all, just looking to confirm some information that Im having surprising hassle trying to nail down.

Can anyone tell me what the official pupil teacher ratio is for general primary schools and if it was raised during the last 7 or 8 years?

It's a bit irrelevant I know given most of us teach 30 kids + most years but its just a figure Id like to confirm, and also what of any changes have happened to the ratio in recent years.

The PTR is calculated by dividing all the teachers into all the children, doesn't take account of SEN teachers and admin principals so is a false figure.

Yeah I was pretty sure it was 28 to 1. Hehe.. 28.. They're gas.

Did the last FF/Green government raise it to 28 or has it been like that for longer?
