Just checked the website, bit concerned that it says that my course runs from Sept-Aug?, previous two years it ran from Sept-June, does this mean that my results will not be released until Aug?

Final year, community and youth work, just emailed my tutor, we weren't put forward to this exam board, going to the Sept one instead but no one informed us.

They'll send you the info you need in the post, there's no timetable up yet for the repeats but they do start on the 7th August.

2nd class honours across the board, oh for **** sake I did better than last year.

I see a masters on the horizon, and now I'm off to the states for a year with no repeats.

I'm nearly speechless, yet I have enough words to apparently write a paragraph here haha.

    **** yeah, GET IN! :D:D:D

Hey how do I get my grade for business only modules as I have 7 modules worth 5 credits and 3 modules worth 2.5 credits. My other 2.5 module is work placement which is pass or fail as far as I know.

I got 63% in each of my 3 English exams. There's consistency :D

Fecking delighted to have passed Geography as well, that went shockingly bad so I'm happy just not to have to repeat

nuim.ie then click student web services at the bottom of the page, log in then expand the student enquiry folder, examination results are in that.

    Good luck :)

Got a 2.1 in History and Greek and Roman. Delighted. Will take a year out to see what comes up.

I was prepared for at least one repeat, but have none. Delighted.

But next year hopefully no close calls. Not a nice feeling.

Anybody repeating, you can get a couple of solid weeks study in and fly through it. Don't worry.

Just got that letter, still no idea what I have to repeat?

Quick questions guys, I passed one maths module by compensation for the whole year, 1's and 2's in every other module across all 3 subjects. Under qualification award at the top of the page it says "PASS" as well as full 60.00 credits. Will this qualification award always only say pass in first year or is it just capped at pass because of the one compensatory maths module? Would this affect me at all?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,764 ✭✭✭mickstupp

Doesn't matter what marks you get in first year, it'll say PASS. Different in the other years, then gives the grade. Maybe it's because your second year results can count towards your degree mark.

Guys, am I right in thinking that a 59.5 is still considered a 2.1?
