Lidl bike computer, fiver

Not sure if it's a general thing or just some odds and ends of stock circling the country until it finds some unwary buyers, but the wireless bike computer is back in the Cork Lidl, reduced in their "summer savings" section to €5. There were quite a few in stock, and just to be especially random one of them was in German packaging (Fahrradcomputer, nicht wahr!).

Important caveats: that's not even as much as 50% off yet, and when I bought one of these full price earlier, it seemed to suffer badly from what I'm guessing was interference. Or some other sort of unspecified brokenness. If anyone else has better luck I'd be interested in hearing about it...

I've been riding around for a least a year with a digital clock on my handlebars. It seems to be linked to the front fork by a wire, but for no obvious reason. #useless

Get a wired one from a decent brand like Kellys, Cateye, or BBB. Won't be much more expensive and will work reliably.

Get a pint and a packet of cheese and onion with your fiver.

I bought 5 bike computers for 3 euro from China on ebay. Free postage. All work perfectly.

Wired or wireless? I've seen those advertised, was curious if they were as crap (or crapper) than the Lidl ones. Care to share the name of the eBay seller? (By PM would be fine, if you don't want to post that here.)
