    As far as I'm aware, the stated date for results is the date the paper arrives at your house in the post.
    So generally they release the digital version the day before. Sometimes there are issues, though.

    If I remember correctly the results were released online at around 12.45pm last year on the Thursday ( F5 keys didn't know what hit them).
    There were issues, but almost everybody had their results at 3.00pm. A mail was sent out by the university (at around 3pm) to indicate that the results were online.

    Is the consultation day just to discuss you results/paper or is it more for final year students?

    For all years, to talk to your lecturer for modules you failed/want to appeal and try to see where you went wrong/what work you have to put in to pass the repeat.

    "Examination Results will be available online and will be posted on Friday 21st June, 2013 at 5pm."

    I assume posted means in the post on Friday, and since they're usually put up the day before I still think they're out tomorrow.

    It's happened both ways before, sometimes the results were online the day before the "official" date and other times the results were online on Friday and the posted results were received on Monday.

    I really hope they are online tomorrow though, I'm waiting on my final year results, but I've been down this road before and not going to get my hopes up.

    Even though I have my official classification of my degree (a 2 1) I still want to see my overall results, especially my thesis mark :)

    I already know I failed 5, but still the anticipation has me on the edge of my chair..

    iirc, the last 2 years they've gone up between 2 and 3 pm and arrive in the post the following day.

    The server will likely crash though, it can never handle the volume of people logging on, so just be patient.

    I've been checking since last night and every hour this morning.


    I'm awaiting final year results and not knowing is killing.

    I expect no fails, and nothing below 60.

    Anything below 60 will crucify me.

    Unlike other years, nothing seems to be happening yet. I've a feeling we may get nothing today.
    Last year they went up around 2ish.

    Some updating has just been done in there, they've added an extra line for month 5's results to add to month 1's which was there already.

    They'll be released shortly by the looks of things.

    No results posted, but there has been movement in the results section.

    I previously only had a dead link to Christmas results, but a dead link to Summer results popped up in the last 20 minutes.

    Happens every year, could be released in an hour or even tomorrow. If people are sitting in and waiting on them though please don't hammer the server refreshing the page every few seconds, if it goes down it'll just delay it for everyone.

    I just checked last year's thread and it was 3.00pm on the Thursday when they went up so might have to wait another hour and a half.

    It's very quiet in here compared to previous years. There were hundreds of post last year, for example.

    The forum as a whole has been very quiet this year. All the cool kids don't go to Maynooth any more.
