VW multifunction steering wheel buttons.

Does anyone share my slight gripe with VW's button layout on their multifunction steering wheel?

The radio volume buttons are on the left spoke and these buttons are the ones I find I use most. The distance I have to move my left hand to the up/down volume buttons on the steering-wheel is almost as much as the distance to the radio's own volume knob.

As a right-handed person I would much prefer if those volume controls were on the right spoke of the steering-wheel where I could use my right hand, with more comfort and convenience.

I know some of the buttons have to be on the left spoke but I would like the most commonly used ones under my right hand.

Is it just me or does anyone else find VW's button lay-out a little awkward?

As a left-hander, no.. they're just fine where they are :)

They're on the right on my A6 so I actually find myself using the MMI most of the time. Not a big deal as my Passat didn't have a MFSW so I would have had to reach over anyway

I would prefer the menu control stalk to be on the left though.

It's just you! I think the VW MF steering wheel is ergonomic perfection.

FWIW my Civic has the radio buttons on the left too.
