    Hi,

Anyone know how to remove Beeswax furniture wax off a pew, as I'd like to stain it. And i'm thinking that the stain will not take over the wax.

    Thanks.

+1 on the above and wipe down periodically with kitchen towels to remove the wax as you are working. If the wax finish is very heavy it may be more economical to use cheap nylon pot scrubs instead of steel wool for the initial stripping- they work very well and will hold plenty of wax before you need to chuck them. Use wire wool for the final pass.
