    Once you get it rooted you can use the app Galaxy Toolbox in Google Play, it worked for me a few weeks back to unlock the Ace from O2.

    There's also Galaxy Ace Unlock app

    If you decide to go for a pay option use ebay for under €10, just check feedback to be save.
