    Hi all,
Was at my LBS inTralee, and was enquiring about the Fuji Sportif 1.1. Had the cash at the time to buy it there and then.Thought i better asked for a test ride on it first before i buy but was refused point blank, reason was the bike could get damage and it would be hard for them to sell it. Was then told to find a friend who has one and ride theirs.
I was always told to test ride every bike until i find one that i liked. Really like the Fuji looks and groupset and a great price. Pity.

I can see their point but I would have assumed that if you took a bike for a test ride and damaged it then you buy the bike. Dud you explain you were a cash buyer and only needs short spin to test the bike out?

Yes, i was ready to buy, had search the net about the bike for a while. The price was cheapest around by a good margin over the rest. I just wanted a feel for the bike before i buy and i was alway told to ride it before i buy it. Can't understand why they don't have a fuji sportif demo for potential customers to ride and it doesn't have to be the 1.1. And yes i would pay/buy the bike if i damage it.

You should have told him you wanted to do the ROK on it with a view to purchasing it afterwards depending on how you got on! Ha Ha ! Bad attitude unless he thought you were show rooming!
