OP, dont just text her ... Dress up in your Sunday best, buy her a present and head over to her house with it... Because if she only gets a text, she may be left in some ambiguity as to whether you are still pining over her or not.... And you wouldnt want to do that to her, not on her birthday..

(Also, DO NOT even consider texting her.. leave it the hell alone..)

Okay here is my update, Drove down to Dingle, it was a long reflective drive. Went to pub for the weekend basically. Had a massive time and guess what, the birthday is today and as off 9:22 pm I have not texted her. Looks like I have held tough !!! Thanks AH for your advise. I actually hope she is p*ssed that I ignored her !!!

Were you hoping she would wish you one & that it would mean she still " cared". There are a lot of manipulative users out there who unfortunately are female. Don't lumber yourself with this one because she once seemed decent, but really wasn't.

Happy Birthday. Hope this year will be great for you & that you fall on your feet with a fantastic new girlfriend who is not only hot but also a great person . You're worth it !
