Looks good if its tested. Seems like leather interior. Like the estate in these. I was so hoping for something of interest in the description.

Looks nice but probably has no test.

You would think he would pull it out of the ditch to take a picture of it, especially as it's a dealer

Something like that 607 would seriously tempt me. Anyone want a bangernomics Saab 9-5? :D

Would you not go for the Senator? Plenty of room, cheap tax* and it has leather! :P

And Dont forget that the number 607 is actually considered bad luck in some cultures such as ..... Ehhhh .... World culture. You'd have to be nuttier than a squirrels shiote to change the 9-5 for what is basically a rebodied Talbot Tagora.

I'd be a bit worried about what happened to the previous owner :p

Never mind all of the passengers ever carried in that car :p

Love how you say your in no hurry to sell - can't blame you.

Hard to get a big automatic car that new with that low mileage with lots of toys for that money.

Looks like a nice place to be sat in

Best of luck either way - if you sell or keep,

One owner for a Vauxhall? It must have been imported at some time, surely?

most older hearses were built in England and imported. A lot still are as VRT is very low on them.

LOL, with every car I've ever bought (except some nearly new boring Japanese cars) people told me I was crazy and that the car was going to break down as soon as I drove it away. They were all wrong. Every time :)

One possibility - is that if it was bought new - it was bought from the hearse builder in the UK - who would have bought the Senator from Vauxhall - hence the Vauxhall badges.

Interesting yoke all the same - certainly stands out from the crowd , not for me though - I have only seen a hearse on my drive once - once was once too many :(.

Just a note of interest lads, there's a 01 avensis on donedeal for sale. When I sold it 2 years ago there was 225k miles on the clock! I notice now it has been miraculously converted to 160k! It's not going for much money at least but it was such a mint car when I sold it and now it looks like a shed!.:(

To be fair it doesn't look like a car that has being loved. But appearances can be deceptive. Tis often the ones that are buffed to the nth degree that you need to be weary of too

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 890 ✭✭✭dh0011

thats why i couldnt find it earlier

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 621 ✭✭✭weekaizer

maybe you should look at the add again. the seller has it listed as "160" not 160,000

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 621 ✭✭✭weekaizer

makes me proud to think the actual mileage on that car is probably about 300,000 at this stage!
Heres how she looked 2 years ago!:(

Fair enough but we both know the car hasn't got 160 miles up on it. You seem to know it hasn't got 160,000 up on it for that matter so thanks for that. Tis good to post these things up on line too. You had never know, you might just prevent someone making a mistake

I know 12tofthe12th. had realised weekaizer had sold the car with 225k miles up on it before I made any post..

I like these cars. 2.0 litre petrol engine ensures they ain't too sought after. You could do worse for €650
