Etiquette after a one night stand?

So I met a guy recently at a party and we really hit it off. We went back to my place and slept together. Everything was fine, but about 10 mins after he'd finished he just got up and left. "That was great, bye" and out the door. Just like that. I was a quite shocked. This is only my second time to have a one night stand. The first time I did it the guy left while I was asleep. I would have thought the normal thing to do was leave the following morning. Am I been naive or is this the way one night stands normally work?

I understand it was just casual sex, but I thought it was a bit rude all the same. If he stayed the night I could have made him breakfast in the morning.

I have a friend (and this not one of those "friend" stories) who hooked up with someone on a night out once... They get a lift back to my friend's place, do the business, happy days.
Next thing your man gets up and starts getting dressed. My friend is like "would you not just stay overnight like?". Your man goes "no no, my friends are waiting outside"... lo and behold there's a car waiting in the driveway, off he goes, hops into the getaway car and out the Clash road :eek:

About as classy as a pig eating a fooking kebab, some folks...

Yeah i woke up in a few places i wished i didnt but thats life.

Ive had some serious laughs sharring breakfast with 'one night stands' and never had a bad morning after. Slightly Embarrasing YES lol but nothing a bit of banter never cured ;-)
