Another golf major tomorrow, the US open. I usually have a go at the majors for an interest. I've backed KJ Choi & Kevin Chappell ew. Anyone else having a crack at it?

Aussie Jim is retiring in September. Thank fuck for that. His arc commentary was good though but in general he is useless.

Yea, bar his great Sea The Stars line, he's a dose to listen to!

I was tempted to stick with tiger at 11/2 on the nose but greed @ triple digit odds about the others ew got the better me.

G-Mac, Snedeker and a small ew on Fowler in the golf for me.

I know the bookies just loves us, if Tiger does not get off to a good start he will struggle, but like a lot of times if he is within 4 shots of the leader on the last day, he could pull out the fairy dust,

I suppose a £40 on him to win would not be a stupid bet, and if the outsiders were there on the last day, there would be room for covering.

I don't think Tiger will win.

I'm already on big on Snedeker from the last 2-3 months but not liking his chances now.

Gonna have a decent bet on Sergio and a smaller bet on Rose.

I think it could be time for Sergio.

Sergio is missing that killer instinct but could be there abouts I guess. Don't like snedekers haircut so cannot touch him :) . My last winning golf bet was 2.50 ew at 110/1. Tragically, that was in 1952.

When Bubba Watson won his major (the masters wasn't it?) I'm pretty sure I'm the only person I know who didn't back him

    Think he was 50/1+

I didn't back him but got a pint of punk ipa for 625 this evening so I feel like a winner. Bubba's win was great tv.

If Kevin chappell wins this w/e I'll book a weeks holiday to October fest.

I spotted that Patrick Mullins parted with some of his communion money alright... Glad to hear you had a bit of good fortune, there were a few lots I saw sold for a fair bit less than I would have expected... As the Colonel says, lashings of Dutch all round!!!

And if they can't hear you sing, they'll know by the dance you're doing exactly what you want to order :)

    Ha ha!

You know it's gonna happen some day. If the Marquis ever starts serving it my bet is that "some day" will be the first Saturday in December!!!!

More likely have to make do with Greene King pretend IPA... Or poison ourselves with Young's again :) Still, couple of pints of knickers tea will make things better....
