Swap cushions from one seat to another?

Hey lads, I need to replace the seat on my fiesta (03) for the NCT as the handle is gone/missing to be able to adjust the seat forward/backwards.

Anyway I bought a seat the other day, am just wondering is there any tips of moving:

the back of the seat and the seat of the old seat to the new one or

move the base with the handle of the new seat to the old one.

or will I just buy covers

I'm not too sure. I'll have a proper look today or will just put the new seat in just to get it to pass the NCT and worry about it after it.

If anyone has any ideas in the meantime I would appreciate it.

Had a proper look earlier, I have no idea how to remove the bar underneath.

You'll have to swap the cushions so.

If you look under the seat, you'll see the cover stretched over the frame, usually there's a plastic trim sown onto the cover that you can pop off.
