What's he like? After suffering with SI joint inflammation for the last 2 years, I've finally been referred and am going to see him tomorrow :) My GP was reluctant to refer me all along because he says there is little anyone can do for SI joint inflammation except give pain relief. However, due to a dispute at work where the company doctor says that I should be able to do my very physical job with no problems, the GP had to refer me on for a consultant report. He warned that Dr Cooke might just inject my joint and send me back to work. I'm reluctant to get the steroid injections as I've heard that the downside of getting them outweighs the short term pain relief and also, a cousin of mine had major complications as a result of these injections and she ended up with fluid leaking from her brain :( What have your experiences of Dr Cooke and his treatment been?
