It's absolutely hilarious you people would acknowledge criminality from the so-called republicans but refuse to acknowledge the existence of Russian gangsters pushing prostitution and drugs in Ireland TODAY.

Is there any doubt at all why Ireland is a complete and utter failure?

    Not really.

Won't someone think of the drug users and johns?

Honestly, OP, that's a pretty tenuous link between someone having a barney outside their gaff, and Russian and/or Lithuanian mafia.

I had the pleasure of overhearing a bunch of Lithuanian or Latvian women (I can't quite remember which) having a full blown screaming match one day. When I asked my friend (Polish, but can get by in Lituanian/Latvian/Slovakian) what that was about, it ended up being about one of their kids communions and how much she had spent on it.

I could have sworn it HAD to be at the very least about how one of them had murdered someone, but no. Was simply "You spent HOW MUCH on a caterer?!"

Ireland will become the criminal state of Europe and you people will no doubt defend it....from your mansion somewhere in a poor country, ruled by despotic regime.

    Selling drugs and prostitution mainly,

Erm, where exactly did you see this? Just so I can keep away from such places of course.

Right, so you would be happy for an unacknowledged/invisible gang to beat up people in Ireland with complete immunity?

Because let's face it...these gangs have immunity until you actually recognize they exist in your country.

Don't know what the fcuk you're on about,if a crime is committed it gets investigated, what difference does it make if it's committed by Irish,Russian or Chinese gangs.I'm pretty sure the guards have heard of the Russian Mafia.

To be honest, when it comes to criminality, gangs, and whatnot, we've still a fair bit to go before we catch up on some of the countries.

Yes, there are different gangs operating. Yes, gangs will move in where they think it will be profitable.

Your links between the 2 foreign chicks, and a Russian mafia is at best weak, and at worst, racist.

Could you tell the difference between Russian and Latvian? And if so, how?

If you are in any way exposed to Russian speakers and Latvians the difference is quite audible even if you don't understand a word. Also everyone should go to Saint Petersburg at least once. Beautiful city and you will never not be able to recognise Russian again :D

What you meant to say was "I had the pleasure of a sex slave from Eastern Europe while the wife was away at the bingo. Just finished a long game of golf because I have no personality and the only woman that would **** me is a hooker"

You realized you'd forgotten your golf clubs at the gay sauna.

    ....right...

"As long as criminals aren't in my neighborhood, why should I care?"

Operation Wireless was set up to combat the Chinese Triads in Ireland. Operation Chestnut was set up to combat the Lithuanian/Russian mob.

The Gardai only set up these operations to target serious gangsters. Five lads selling a few ounces of coke are not considered a gang. The Gardai are currently targeting 25 major criminal gangs. Some of them are foreign born.

The thread starter is not scaremongering by pointing this out.

Oh we're playing that game tonight, are we?

    Mrs. Sof. doesn't play bingo.
    I don't play golf.
I don't pay for sex or water.

You realized you'd forgotten your golf clubs at the gay sauna.

Oh, so it's homosexual remarks now? Thought I had to pay for sex. But now I'm cruising saunas? If you're going with an insult, keep it consistant.

    ....right...

"As long as criminals aren't in my neighborhood, why should I care?"

Trust me, I have enough crime to watch out for here, without being petrified that someone may or may not be in a Russian gang. Start with home heating tanks being drained, by an Irish mob. Continue that up with home invasions, again Irish suspects. Murder a while ago, linked to a brothel, but Romanian woman, her husband, and an irate john, Slovak if I remember correctly. Social welfare fraud, jesus, take your pick of nationalities, but lets start with Irish.

Jog on, aren't you due to be on the Adrian Kennedy show soon?

Judging by the responses here, you deserve to have your country destroyed.

When you're sobbing about the criminality, take a look in the mirror you inbred useless *****.

You have said you know there is a business being used as a cover for a gang dealing drugs and you know of a Polish man who was assaulted..so presumably you have gone to the guards about this rather than just a message board?

Also from my own view I thought it was widely know that gangs from other countries had been in this country for a number of years now and as you have been told the guards have targeted them. Shouldn't that satisfy your original post?

On a serious note, anybody know how Russian or Chinese gansters can even get into this country?
Would they been known gangsters back home before they come here?

Gangs suggests a large number, not just one or two

And what do you believe should be the correct response on here?

"Oh My Lord Sweet Babby Jesus, Mary, the donkey and wholegrain toast, fúcking furriners coming over here, taking jobs away from our own gangs?"

As I have already said, your links between what was seen and what you think happened is tenuous. I'm not denying that there are criminal gangs, both homegrown and imported, operating here. The Gardai are well aware of said gangs, with Operation whatever (seriously, who names these? Operation Wireless dealing with Triads?) ongoing. Apart from reporting suspicious behaviour, what more do you want plain jane and honest john citizens to do? Start lynching anyone that speaks with an accent?

This is a country that had Prawo Jazdy as the main culprit of driving offences, up and down the country.

If someone wants into a country, they'll get in. See, the thing about criminals is that they don't necessarily play by the rules.

How could you tell that they were speaking Russian? The average Irish person could not distinguish the Russian language from Polish, Lithuanian, Czech or any other slavic language.

Of course they could. I don't speak any of those languages but I've met enough Poles, Russians and Lithuanians through my job, to be able to distinguish one from the others. Russian is very harsh sounding, Lithuanian is much softer. If there's lots of "tak", "dobry" or "kurva" then it's easy to tell that it's Polish.

The average Irish person must be very slow in your eyes :D

    Lithuanian isn't slavic, is it?

    Lithuanian isn't slavic, is it?

It's a Baltic language which is a sub-branch of Balto-Slavic. Basically it comes under the Slavic family tree.

Ding ding ding! Welcome to 2013, OP. You think Ireland is the only place with foreign criminals and that it's gonna be like a crime headquarters?

The real gangsters are taking over Ireland, showing the weak Irish gangs how its done. The Mexicans will be here soon. Get used to seeing beheadings.
