First off, yes I realize the title makes me sound like a lazy gobsh!te ;)

Was in the shop getting some beer yesterday and I noticed they have a bottle of Captain Morgan's Long Island Iced Tea for a tenner at the moment. Now I've always been a fan of this drink, but generally whenever I've drunk it it's been in a nightclub in which the barman actually mixes it himself from all the individual drinks, shakes it up etc. So I was just wondering, being the lazy bollocks that I am, would the bottled variety be anything near as nice as the proper cocktailed variety, or should I just get off my proverbial backside, buy the individual drinks and mix it myself at home?

Would there be a huge difference? Anyone tried the bottled kind, what's it like? :D

It's totally different, the pre made stuff is disgusting, save your money.
I know it's an expensive one to make at home but once you've everything bought you get a lot of drink for your money.

Generally, any thing pre-bottled or made in a nightclub is horrible. it will be overly sugary and poorly mixed. You're really better off learning how to mix it at home. It's a challenge to find a recipe without sour mix but here's a recipe from the Food Network.
