How can I mute the battery low sound on my HTC desire X phone?

    How can I mute the battery low sound on my HTC desire X phone? Every time the phone drops below 12% battery - i get this annoying warning sound. Its probably common to most other android phones.

    How can I get rid of it? ( without having to root the phone?)

    Iirc there a setting for warning sounds.
