10 day ban. Should be lined up and forced to take a dig in the ribs off everyone who backed him. :D

10 day ban is pathetic, the sport has become a joke now at this stage every few days its another piss take either stopped horses, drugged horses, drugged jockeys an shocking mistakes.

Between Best, McCoy and Nolan, it's been a woeful day for the sport.

Having spent the day being excessively warm in work, treated myself to some beers as part of the weekly shop. Got a Leann Follain & a goose island IPA. Might save the stout for tomorrow to start a mini session accompanied by a few Guinness & just quaff the IPA tonight. Have a rip of the new Iron Man film to watch, so tomorrow evening should be a good one...

Goose Island IPA is not half bad at all. 5.9% ABV, so decent kick if you're only having one (like I am). One more for the definitely try again list. According to ratebeer, it's rated 18 points better than Metalman, which to my admittedly unrefined palate is a travesty, as Metalman is utterly sensational. Punk is still the ultimate, but Metalman & Goose Island IPA are very worthy alternatives...

To be honest, at 3.00 this afternoon I'd have murdered a pint or can of Coors... I'm not snobby when it comes down to looking a quick thirst quencher :) if I'm only having a beer or two however I like to try out some different brews, expand the horizons a bit... But there's always a place in my heart for Guinness, my first love... Or the odd lager like Coors or Carlsberg... But I really, really, really dislike Heineken. Normally after about 6 pints of it...

Tipped into the townhouse and had a Brewfist Spaceman after work there. Lovely pale ale from Italy. Even had it out in the beer garden. Had Homage won, I might have had two or three more...

Can someone go and check on The Colonel, just to make sure he's OK. He could not possibly resist getting involved in this!

Had a few Coors, BBQ is firing up. Yeeeeehaw.

I normally avoid Dominos pizza as they're horribly overpriced. Cheap deal at the minute, any pizza for €9.99, so I succumbed. To be honest, I won't be rushing to buy from there again, the food was passable enough but far from great. On a more positive note, it's not long until beer o'clock, trucking a few cans of Arthur into the fridge in advance of the match kicking off, should be nicely set by kick off time...
