Zanussi V Whirlpool washing machines

    Looking to buy a new washing machine , Wondering if anyone knows whether Zanussi or Whirlpool are better quality ?

    if it helps , zanussi are mainly manufactured in china , most of the entry level machines anyway , and only last a year or two .
    whirlpool an ok machine , serviceable etc

    bosch is about the best and the lg and Samsung are very good at the moment , long warrentys on them

    Currys have a good deal on an Indesit at the moment.What are they like?

    indesit are grand , they are entry level

    indesit are awful. Agree about Bosch though.Outstanding Machine.May be a bit more expensive,but will be worth it in the long run.

    the best machine to go for would be siemens bosch or lg there a 8kg 1400 spin siemens that retail's around 449 and is an excellent machine siemens washing machines are ultra reliable if not that then the lg f1289 is 8 kg 1200 spin with the direct drive motor embossed drum and is also very reliable id forget about zanussi most of there machines are now built with inferior parts as are whirlpool def go for siemens lg and if not wither of them then bosch

    scrapyards are full of whirlpools i reckon

    nice machine to fix if you can diy though

    Would be inclined to agree with your choice of brands.

    Samsung might be worth a consideration also as most/all have a 5 year Parts & Labour warranty.
